Waiting for the airplane in the terminal

We take the aircraft from the previous flight . Several dozens of minutes we        spend waiting in the lobby with passengers

The aircraft arrived a litlle bid late for a few minutes . It will need to move fast and make the necessary check-in procedures as soon as possible

To check some important parts of airplane

.. sometimes I can enjoy the view of around passing a little machines

.. meanwhile, my colleague prepares the cockpit

After the first hour of flight are emerging Greek Islands like this one named
Ikaria

Icaria, also spelled Ikaria is a Greek island in the Aegean Sea, 10 nautical miles  southwest of Samos. It derived its name from Icarus, the son of Daedalus in Greek mythology, who fell into the sea nearby. Administratively the island forms a separate municipality within the Ikaria regional unit, which is part of the North Aegean region. The principal town of the island and seat of the municipality is Agios Kirykos. The historic capitals of the island include Oenoe and Evdilos.

or this one named

Athos

Mount Athos  is a mountain and peninsula in Northern Greece. A World Heritage Site and autonomous polity within the Hellenic Republic under the official name Autonomous Monastic State of the Holy Mountain, Mount Athos is home to 20 stauropegial Eastern Orthodox monasteries under the direct jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople.....

Approaching Athos on video

We have approached our home base after crossing the Balkan. The Czech Republic flying through over South Moravia towards Plzen .

-- add pics with small South Bohemia Lakes --

There is cold front coming from the southwest of Europe appear above the horizon known to us and announced before departure from Ben Gurion Airport.

A few minutes later we got information about the status of Amsterdam Shipol Airport  about strong thunderstorm with torrential rain over the airport

To avoid possible waiting I decided to reduce the speed even at flight level and avoid any possible waiting for weather improvement near the airpor

The scenery of preceding storms opened in front us after several feet lower during descent

It seems the deceleration to be useful. However, our way during the landing weak rain shower will hit us anyway

During the docking the gate bridge, we notice how ground staff frantically pulled out their mobile phones from their pockets and like verve trying to take a photo of our plane ... that we have suffered a lightning strike ?

Leaving airplane worriedly pointing my view from the nose of airplane like they do..... and :-)

... that is reason why :-)

Rainbow above our Rocket :-)
